How Anser's Partnership with EL Improved Mastery of Knowledge and Skills.
Anser takes pride in our commitment to life-long learning as well as excellence in improving our pedagogy through professional development. We believe this commitment cultivates exemplary teachers, while educating the whole child. Developing and maintaining curriculum that aligns with the Common Core has been a three-year process that continues to develop.
Leader in Deeper Learning Pedagogy
Anser has a strong foundation in literacy, math, and use of the workshop model that has been built over sixteen years of partnership with EL. Our unique math program has been recognized within the EL Network. Giselle Isbell, Upper Childhood teacher (5/6 grade) has traveled to Denver to teach EL educators about Mathematical Thinking for Instruction and Cognitively Guided Instructional practices. October 6-8, 2014 Anser hosted a regional math institute with 30 participants from the Northwestern Region of Expeditionary Learning. Anser hopes to continue to be a leader in mathematical instruction nationally and within the Expeditionary Learning Network.
